Energy efficiency: my research focuses on energy efficient integrated circuit design methods. Design methods from circuits to architecture-level that lead to high performance, reliable and low power dissipation.
Materials &chemistry: I investigate novel materials such as 2D heterostructure materials as channel material for field effect transistors. Also materials such as graphene and carbon nanotubes are of interest for both device and interconnect material for nanoelectronics applications.
Smart Systems & Device design:By combining research on material, devices, interconnects and circuit design, I perform design space exploration for heterogenous and smart system integration such as logic, memory and embedded sensors for biological or environmental sensing.
