EPSRC Physical Sciences team will visit the University on 14th January 2016. The visit is organised by the Department of Physics and you are invited to attend the following sessions:

10:00 – 12:00 Open Session (Venue: Cavendish Laboratory, Small Lecture Theatre)

EPSRC will give presentations about their strategy for Physical Sciences and plans, activities and budget, as well as changes to infrastructure funding. This session is open for all members of the University interested in attending.

 

15:00 – 16:00 Parallel Sessions (Cavendish Laboratory, Mott Seminar Room)

(i)             Early Career Researchers Briefing Session. This session is in particular aimed at researchers eligible to hold an EPSRC grant who have completed a PhD within the previous ten years.

(ii)            1-2-1 session with one of the Portfolio Managers. There are 6 slots available, and each will last 20 minutes. These sessions are for people with detailed or specific enquiries. More general enquiries can be dealt with in other sessions. If you would like to request a slot, please contact Leona Hope-Coles by email to (headsec@phy.cam.ac.uk) by Tuesday 12th January 2016.
