Young Chilean Innovators visit: Foundation for Innovation (FIA) networking lunch – 1 December 2015
Innovate UK is collaborating with the FIA in Chile, Cambridge Enterprise and Isis Innovation at Oxford University, to build innovation capacity amongst the next generation of entrepreneurs in the agricultural, horticulture and forestry sectors in Chile. The ten visiting innovators have commercialised a range of different innovations that aim to solve immediate problems for farmers in Chile. These include energy generation from the flow of water in irrigation channels, pathogen detectors and food products based upon native crops found in South America.
As part of this visit, CambsPlant Hub would like to invite attendees for lunch to exchange ideas and explore collaborations with the visitors. If you would like to attend, or give a short presentation about your work and/or initiatives please email Mariana Fazenda (ml745@cam.ac.uk).
