Shell and Churchill College Research Prize

The Shell Research Prize will be given to the best research proposal from a
Post Doctoral Researcher, graduate or undergraduate student from Churchill College.

The request is for a (1-3 page) proposal and poster and group-entries are permissible. Proposals should be for research that the entrant or entrants intend
to complete themselves. It is hoped that the prize money might help
facilitate the research. The prize is open to anyone who submits
research in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and
mathematics) subjects. The panel has also indicated an interest in any
proposals with a particular focus on the following themes:

- Energy (oil and gas, solar etc)
- Engineering
- Big Data

Award: £3,000
Submission deadline: 9 October 2015.

Send your proposals to, with the heading "Shell Churchill Research Prize". Selected students will be invited to a Shell Poster
Session on Friday 30 October 2015 from 12 noon and the winner will be
announced at 13.00.
