The Cambridge Centre Circular Economy Approaches to Eliminate Plastic Waste will hold its first forum on the 14 February 2019. The forum will launch the new UKRI Cambridge Centre for Circular Economy Approaches to Eliminate Plastic Waste. The centre acts as a nucleus for a global network of partners and coordinates a range of Cambridge-based research projects to tackle contemporary challenges from the manufacturing of more sustainable materials to driving innovations in plastic recycling.

The forum will introduce this new research programme, and includes speakers from industry, local councils and policymakers, together with quick-fire talks from a range of students and post-doctoral researchers. There will also be plenty of time for networking and discussing future potential collaborations at an informal drinks reception.

Please register here to become a member of the Centre and receive details of relevant events and funding opportunities.

A more detailed programme is available here.
