About
Exhibition as part of Cambridge Festival, showcasing the creative outcomes of the 2023 edition of the project.
Join us for a unique exhibition of art and design creations that showcase some of the world’s most burning questions in novel and creative ways. We challenged our researchers to work with creative professionals to rethink the ways they communicate their research, by means of artistic practice, graphic design, illustration, poetry, performance, photography, animation and moving image. We are grateful to CSVPA for their partnership on this project.
University of Cambridge researchers have worked with professionals from the creative arts to bring their research outside of the world of academia through a diverse range of artistic media from augmented reality, sculpture, photography, illustration, poetry, to animation and short films. The research questions and disciplines are as varied as the creative ways in which they are presented – whether watching a film about light, retelling the life of Richard III, exploring Mexican board games through augmented reality, reflecting on political participation in Nigerian elections, or listening to poetry about youth mental health – there will be plenty to reflect on and learn from this thought-provoking exhibition.
