Plastic pollution is a huge threat to the Earth’s oceans.  Microplastic contamination affects the deep sea, arctic ice, and the wellbeing of marine creatures. However traditional approaches have failed to analyse the scale of the problem, and even cutting-edge science struggles to deal with the contamination caused by microplastics. Consequently, there is an urgent need for innovative solutions with potential for a world-changing impact.

Join us for an engaging interdisciplinary hackathon to engage in group discussions facilitated by industry mentors from TTPand collaborate with others to diagnose the problem and develop creative solutions. This event is led by industry mentors from TTP and is jointly organised and supported by Homerton Changemakers and the Homerton Science SocietyOpen to ALL Students/Alumni and Postdocs from other Colleges/Universities in the regionNo coding required! Register Here
