This panel, in collaboration with the Cambridge Climate Society, discusses dynamics between the energy sector and policy-making. It will explore pathways and barriers to a just energy transition from a diverse set of speakers. The panel represents the vantage points of activists, industry experts and policy analysts to shed light on: 

  • The embeddedness of oil in society
  • Future designs of the electricity market
  • The pressing need to step up investments in network infrastructure
  • Potential policy solutions

This will take place on 25th January at 7pm in Old Divinity School, St. John's College. You are welcome to join the committees and speakers for drinks after.
