Speaker: Tony Roulstone (Cambridge University)

After reading Engineering at King’s College Cambridge, he joined the UK Atomic Energy Authority to work on fast reactor systems. He was involved at Rolls-Royce for ten years in the design of the PWR-2 reactor systems in the Vanguard class submarines, and later as Engineering Director was responsible for the engineering teams for all UK nuclear submarines. He has had senior roles in the Aerospace section of Rolls-Royce and has consulted for blue-chip engineering and IT service companies.

Tony is a Lecturer in Nuclear Energy. He returned to Cambridge in 2010 as the first Course Director for the MPhil in Nuclear Energy. He is Fellow of IMechE and a Member of the IET.
