  • Enable networking between those working in different areas and sectors related to the area.

How to Apply
Fill out the survey here to apply for the workshop at the Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham, on 25 March 2025. You will be notified of whether you have a place by 4 March 2025.

Eligibility
EPSRC seeks a balanced overview from academia, industry, and government, with diverse participants across expertise, career stages and geographical locations. Please note EPSRC will not cover travel and subsistence costs. See below for carer support.

Support for Carers
EPSRC is unable to reimburse any costs that form part of someone’s normal care arrangements. However, where participation in this workshop would involve additional care requirements, our expectation is that your employer is approached in the first instance to meet these costs. If your employer is unable to cover these additional costs, then EPSRC may reimburse reasonable extra costs incurred. Making arrangements for the care to be provided is the responsibility of the carer themselves  Additional care requirements could occur if:

  • The event is on what would normally be a non-working day
  • Attendance would extend your working hours on a normal working day
  • To attend the workshop, you would need to stay away from home overnight

People invited to EPSRC events should check with Events@epsrc.ukri.org and confirm what costs can be reimbursed prior to attendance. Claimants should note that any tax liability is their own responsibility
