Caroline Hargrove CBE is the CTO at Ceres, a world leading developer of low cost, next generation fuel cell and green hydrogen technology, where she led her team to a MacRobert Award in 2023 (MacRobert Award). Previously, Caroline was at McLaren for 20 years, first as a Simulation Development Engineer at McLaren Racing, and then as a founding member and CTO of McLaren Applied Technologies which was set up to exploit F1 technology in other markets including healthcare and telecommunications. She then acted as CTO for Babylon, a fast-growing Health Tech AI company aiming to bring affordable and available healthcare to everyone and Zedsen, a Med Tech startup where she still acts as Non-Executive Director. Caroline is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and received a CBE for services to Engineering in 2020.
