About
This Symposium will showcase the expertise of the SOLARSPOON consortium (www.solarspoon.eu) and will feature 6 talks by leading scientists from top-tier European institutes and industrial partners.
SOLARSPOON is the first major European Innovation Council collaborative grant in which Cambridge has served as the lead partner. The project aims to rethink how we make food by using the most abundant resources around us: sunlight, air, and water. We are developing a new highly energy efficient solar-powered device that brings microbes and electrochemistry together in one integrated, off-grid system, paving the way for more sustainable food production methods in the future.
