Despite rapid progress in AI, there remains a significant gap between the potential of these technologies and our ability to deploy them for public good.

Join ai@cam for this panel discussion as we bring together leading experts and local government officials to explore how artificial intelligence could transform public service delivery and address real-world challenges in local government.

Our panel includes:

• Neil Lawrence, DeepMind Professor of Machine Learning at the University of Cambridge

• Jess Montgomery, Director, ai@cam

• Gina Neff, Executive Director of the Minderoo Centre for Technology & Democracy at the University of Cambridge

• Liz Watts, Chief Executive of South Cambridgeshire District Council

• Robert Pollock, Chief Executive of Cambridge City Council

This event will be held at the Debating Chamber at the Cambridge Union on Bridge Street, any questions and please contact contact@ai.cam.ac.uk
