Evidence-based public policy decisions are frequently made with the support of academic research outputs. Due to pressing nature of decarbonisation targets, coupled with recent change in UK government, we can expect a flurry of implementation decisions to be made in the coming months and years. As an academic community, we need to be ready to engage in this process.
