About
This month’s Critical Conversations webinar will explore the risks and opportunities shaping mineral exploration and development in Malawi. Drawing on insights from a recent field visit, the CCG team—alongside Prof. Chikondi Chisenga and Dr. Emmanuel Chinkaka—will examine Malawi’s mineral potential, the technical, environmental, and governance challenges involved, and the pathways for responsible and sustainable development. The discussion will offer participants a grounded perspective on what the future may hold for the country’s mineral sector and why it matters for policymakers, industry, and communities alike.
