The University of Cambridge EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, or NanoDTC for short, invites expressions of interest for participation in a “Future Directions in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology” Roadmapping Workshop.

The NanoDTC plans to draw up its vision for the next 5-year phase and seeks input from industry leaders to prioritise focus areas and to pick goals which provide a fertile ground for real technologies as well as new science. Expressions of interest are therefore invited from senior technical staff from interested companies to attend the road-mapping workshop on 28th September. The NanoDTC is particularly looking for participants who are directly interested in this general field, are happy to contribute their insights and are able to map the discussions to the priorities of their industry sector. It will be a highly interactive activity, with an opportunity for all participants to actively contribute their thoughts. The workshop is expected to provide useful insights for all attendees from academia and industry, which will be collated after the workshop and made available to all contributors.
