The seventeenth Kelly lecture will be given at the Forum by Professor Angela Belcher, W.M. Keck Professor of Energy, Department of Material Science and Department of Biological Engineering,MIT, on the subject of;

"Giving New Life to Materials for Energy, the Environment and Medicine”

Prof Helen Assender, Associate Professor at the Dept. of Materials, University of Oxford:  Roll-to-roll vacuum processing of flexible electronics 

 Prof Neil Greenham, Professor of Physics, Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge: New Materials for High-Efficiency Solar Cells

Prof Chris Pickard, Professor of Physics, Dept of Physics & Astronomy, Faculty of Maths & Physical Sciences, UCL: High throughput computation of randomly generated structures enables computational materials discovery

The full programme will focuss on advancement in Material Science. The Armourers and Brasiers' Cambridge Forum is held annually at the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy in Cambridge with the aim of raising the profile of materials science in the UK academic and industrial communities, while being international in scope.
