The visual dimension of cities has been a fundamental subject in urban studies, since the pioneering work of scholars such as Sitte, Lynch, Arnheim and Jacobs. Several decades later, big data and artificial intelligence are revolutionizing how people move, sense, and interact with cities.
This series of events comprises three online lectures and an in person event, all centered around the theme of 'Digital Image of the City: Application and Policy Implication of Street View Image Analysis'. The lectures discuss the latest developments in urban studies on street view image analysis.
