Remanufacturing is defined as “Returning a product to at least its original performance with a warranty that is equivalent to or better than that of the newly manufactured product”.  Taking this into consideration, there is a large potential to retain the value of a product beyond its initial lifespan. Remanufactured products can also contribute to a positive environmental impact compared to manufacturing from new materials (up to 98% CO2[MM1]  reduction).

KTN, in partnership with University of Brighton, Innovate UK and a range of other stakeholders, are running a series of online workshops exploring this topic to build on existing evidence and activity with the aim of informing evidence based policy and funding to support remanufacturing opportunities.

This first workshop is for organisations already involved in remanufacturing and are looking to grow their activities.

(There will be a second workshop for those looking to adopt remanufacturing for the first time.)

Who should attend?

This workshop is for organisations already involved in remanufacturing and are looking to grow their activities in this area.

Companies and research organisations currently involved in remanufacturing across different sectors, are invited to attend this webinar where we will explore opportunities to help you grow - such as the adoption of digital technologies,  what you think policy priorities  should be,  where are the innovation gaps and what can be done to help you  grow your business into new sectors?
