UCL Energy Institute is currently running a project on quantifying social and environmental acceptance of wind energy in energy models, which are used to inform policy makers. The Energy Institute develops UK energy analysis models, some of which are used by policy makers at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) in planning for future requirements.
