Energy@Cambridge to support two CRASSH faculty research groups

Energy@Cambridge wishes to support up to two CRASSH faculty research groups exploring research led by the arts, humanities and social sciences concerning any aspect of energy-related research. The world’s energy challenge needs multifaceted responses from across the arts, the humanities and the life, social and physical sciences.

The Graduate/Faculty Research Groups programme supports groups of graduate students and faculty members working together with a common interdisciplinary research interest. Since its inception in 2006, the programme has hosted 33 groups. The selection of the groups is via competition.  CRASSH offers administrative support, funding and a venue to groups in any one year. Funding of up to £1500 per year, renewable for one year, will be available for relevant activities, as well as administrative assistance with events, publicity and budgets. Activities may include seminars, workshops, reading/discussion groups, short visits by guest speakers to Cambridge. The budget is allocated in consultation with CRASSH.  The groups are supported by The Andrew W Mellon Foundation, The Isaac Newton Trust and in 2014-15 also by Energy@Cambridge.

Deadline: 24 April 2014
