CUETS x CU China Forum Panel discussion

Join us on 6:00 pm on Wednesday the 12th of March, for a Forum Panel discussion on the "Role of China in Global Energy Transition". We will be hosting speakers from policy, industry, and academia

 

Prof Teng Long was appointed Full Professor (Professor of Power Electronics) in 2022. His research portfolio covers power electronic devices to power converters to drive and power systems, for transport electrification and renewable energy applications. Prof Long has built strong connections with industrial partners including the SAIC Motor, Dynex Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Siemens, CBMM, NIO, CRRC, Wuxi SES.

Belinda Schape is a China Policy Analyst with the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) where she analyses China's decarbonisation journey and advises policymakers on their diplomatic engagement with China. She has published a range of articles and op-eds on Chinese climate and energy policy as well as climate diplomacy in Chinese foreign relations.

Dr KT Tan is the CTO at Viridian Solar, a Cambridge-based company with their market leading roof integrated solar PV products. As a Chartered Engineer, he specialises in new solar technologies with a particular interest in roof-integrated systems, advanced PV cell technologies and innovative mounting solutions.
