Are you interested in new temporary connections processes, non-standard connection types and the future challenges associated with increasing connection volumes of sites looking to decarbonise through electrification?

Join us for a webinar on National Grid’s Road to Power project which is aiming to address the critical challenges facing the electrification of plant machinery in the construction industry.

EA Technology, in partnership with National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED), has developed a proof-of concept tool that will enable customers with flexible demand to instigate alternative temporary connection options for their site. The Road to Power SIF Alpha project was borne out of conversations with the construction industry and the challenge that greater electrification of their compounds will bring as larger grid connections are required. By enabling customers with demand connections that have flexible demand requirements throughout the day and across the year, short-term connections to the HV network may be achieved quicker.

Louise is a Senior Consultant in the Net Zero Transition team, working as a project manager and technical lead on projects that will provide solutions to new energy challenges. Louise has a passionate interest in all aspects of the decarbonisation challenges facing the industry. Louise graduated with a Master’s in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, the first step on a diverse career path in the energy industry, including both electricity and gas. Working across projects involving multiple avenues to Net Zero, she has a passionate interest in all aspects of the decarbonisation challenges facing industry.
