Speaker: Dr Teng Long, Lecturer in Power Electronics, University of Cambridge
Dr Long is an expert in Power Electronics, Power Conversion Systems, Electric Vehicles (cars, trains, ships, aircraft), Electrical Energy Storage, Renewable Energy and Smart Grid, He has established the the applied Power Electronics Laboratory (The Long Lab) in the Department of Engineering. His research portfoliio covers from Power Electronic Devices to Power Converters and Drive and Power Systems, mainly for transport electrification and renewable energy applications.
Dr Long has been awarded multiple research grants funded by the UK government as well as directly from industrial sponsors. He has built strong industrial partner connections, including the SAIC Motor, Dynex Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Siemens, CBMM, CRRC, Wuxi SES.
