Speaker: Cillian Totterdell, Form Energy
Cillian is currently leading Form Energy’s policy work in Europe, working with the EU and national governments to support policies which will deliver net-zero. Form Energy are developing, manufacturing, and commercializing a new class of cost-effective, multi-day energy storage systems that will enable a reliable and fully renewable electric grid year-round. Their first commercial product is an iron-air battery capable of storing electricity for 100 hours at system costs competitive with legacy power plants.
Prior to joining Form, Cillian worked at a public affairs consultancy where he collaborated with clients from across the energy and climate space, and wider economy, on EU sustainability legislation, including the European Green Deal, Clean Energy Package, and REPower EU.
