We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the UK launch of our new cost-effective AFM – the Dimension Nexus Benchtop system.

    Register: https://info.bns.bruker.com/AFM-WS-Royce-Cambridge-May-2025.html

The Nexus is the latest addition to our AFM family – a cost effective, small footprint system designed to deliver wider access to top AFM performance, which includes:

The workshop will focus on the unique features of the system which has been designed to be easy to use, fully upgradeable – a welcome addition to multi-user labs where AFM expertise and applications vary and where physical space for instruments is at a premium.

In addition to talks from our technical experts we will also be demonstrating the system on a range of samples to provide a full overview of its capabilities.

The workshop will be valuable for researchers (from students, Post Docs to PI’s), experimental officers, lab managers and other scientists involved in material characterisation at the nanoscale.

Whilst this event is free to attend, space is restricted to allow participants valuable time with our specialists and the systems – so please register your interest as soon as possible.

The workshop is free of charge. Please click here to download the programme.

    Agri-Food Robotics Online Conference, 15-16 May 2025

We would like to invite engineering researchers and students to take part in the Agri-Food Robotics Conference that will be happening online (Zoom), 15-16 May 2025.

A purpose of this conference is to figure out in what way Robotics and other modern technologies can help humankind to address global food challenges which are becoming fundamental to the planet’s existence.

By exploring related to Agri-Food industry research topics brought up in presentations and panel discussions, the conference will aim to address problems arising from climate change and unsustainable agricultural practices and highlight importance of developing modern technologies that may help to illuminate food shortages and soil degradation in future.

    INVITED SPEAKERS

Henry Medeiros, University of Florida, USA

Matthew Howard, King’s College London, UK

Hiroki Mori, Co-founder of Tokuiten, Japan

Juan Bravo, Founder and CEO of Agrobot, Spain/USA

    Josie Hughes EPFL, Switzerland

Letizia Mortara, Institute of Manufacturing, University of Cambridge, UK
