Biography

Bioenergy: My work looks at assessing the impacts on the composition and chemistry of the atmosphere as a result of different bioenergy options (e.g. the impacts of burning biofuels) in the transport sector.

Photovoltaics: My research investigates how photovoltaics and photocatalysis can help reduce green house gas emissions.

Transport: My work looks at assessing the impacts on the composition and chemistry of the atmosphere as a result of different bioenergy options (e.g. the impacts of burning biofuels) in the transport sector.

Energy Efficiency: My group use climate models to understand how these technologies combined with improved energy efficiency can mitigate climate change.

Policy, Economics & Risk: We are interested in using numerical modelling as a tool to help inform policy, through enabling improvements in our understanding of the economics and associated risks.
